Join us for the final event of the 2009-10 Cajun Kayak Angler Series. As part of the series we are raffling a Hobie Quest Kayak and other prizes to all participating LKFC members. Please see rules for details. This kayak is donated courtesy of Hobie and Pack & Paddle. Angler of the Year also wins a Native Ultimate 12'

Rules

Registration
Open to public until 8.27.10, 11:59 p.m. All participants are eligible to win tourney prizes. Participating members will have 1 chance entered in the Series Raffle Pot (SRP). The SRP includes a kayak and other prizes to be held after weigh-in.

Entry
$25 + Optional $5 Big Trout Calcutta (+1.25 via PayPal). Breakdown: $20-SLAM Pot. $5-CKAS Series Pot. $5-Big Trout Calcutta.

Categories
$25 Entry includes SLAM category. You may enter the optional Big Speck Calcutta for an additional $5. Tie break goes to whoever weighed-in first.
1) SLAM (Series Points)- You may enter either a “2-Fish” SLAM or a “3-Fish”. Either SLAM may not include more than 1 of a single species. A 3-fish SLAM must include 1 of each: Redfish (27” max), Flounder (12”min), Speckled Trout (12” min). 2 bonus pounds of weight are added to anyone who can weigh a 3-Fish SLAM. Two examples of legal SLAMs: 1) “3-Fish” SLAM: 5lb trout, 1lb flounder, 3lb redfish (2lb bonus) = 11lbs. 2) “2-Fish” SLAM: 3lb trout, 5lb redfish= 8lbs.
2) Optional Big Speck Calcutta- You may enter 1 Speckled Trout which may NOT count towards both categories. Winner wins the Calcutta pot.

Payouts
SLAM- 1st=40%/2nd=27%/3rd=18%/4th=10%/5th=5%. Calcutta- Winner Take All

Top 5 Overall Series Winners
1^st=Kayak/2^nd-5^th receive disbursements of the pot (TBA)

SRP
A pot of prizes, including a kayak, raffled to LKFC Members/Series Participants. Participating members receive 1 chance for each CKAS tourney fished in ‘09-‘10. Angler of Year is excluded from the SRP Kayak

Legal Fishing Time
5:30 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Weigh-In:
2 – 3 p.m. at Cypremort Point State Park.

Legal Baits
Artificial Baits. No live, dead bait, or chumming allowed.

Legal Fishing Methods
From Kayak, caught via rod/reel. Wading/Bank fishing allowed with kayak within 100 yards.

Boundary: Iberia & St. Mary Parishes

Legal Craft
Human-Powered Paddle-Craft (kayaks, canoes, pirogues). No sails, mother-shipping or motors.
