With kayak fishing soaring in popularity in our area, we are very excited to co-host with the Lafayette Kayak Fishing Club Capt. Danny Wray, owner and guide for Calmwater Charters in Grand Isle, LA to Lafayette. Danny will be your speaker for an evening focused on the exploding sport of kayak fishing.
Have you ever hooked into a big redfish while sitting in a kayak? This is one fishing thrill you've got to try to believe. Whether you’ve been thinking about getting into a kayak to fish or you’re a seasoned vet, this seminar is for you. The Lafayette Kayak Fishing Club (LKFC) presents this free seminar with guest speakers Capt. Danny Wray and wife Kristen. Both are experienced, knowledgeable anglers eager to share their experience with you.. They will provide you with value insight on kayak fishing techniques, rigging and strategies. This is an open-forum seminar so please bring your questions. In addition, Danny will show photos and videos of kayak fishing adventures in Grand Isle to get us all in the mood to go fishing! Venue
