Meeting Place: We will leave the Albertson's in Broussard off of HWY 90 at 6 am. You can also meet us at the State Park launch at 7 AM. We will launch from the "sailboat launch" near the camps.
Trip Description: Remember to sign up for the CCA STAR Tourney for your chance to win a kayak. Go to www.ccastar.com for details. We will be launching from "sailboat launch" (near Shark Bayou). Paddle just a couple hundred yards and you are ready to fish. Or head South past the beach to the Cove. $1 per person to enter park.
Tackle To Bring/Bait: 1/4-1/8-3/8 oz jigheads, Gulp, Popping corks, spoons, topwater, sand eels and other soft plastics.
What to Watch For: Power boats in Quintana Canal and Shark Bayou. Dress appropriately, always wear your PFD.
