Fishing Time: 7:00a.m. till 2:00p.m.

Meeting Place: We will leave at 4:30 am from the old Sams off Ambassador and I10.  It is not advisable to leave your vehicle there.  You can also meet us on the beach if you prefer.

Trip Description: We will be launching from the beach(Easy) and paddle just a couple hundred yards and you are ready to fish. We will mostly be fishing the rock jetties out from the beach. Reds, Specks and even Spanish Mackeral may be caught here.

Tackle To Bring/Bait: 1/4-1/8-3/8 oz jigheads, Gulp, Popping corks, spoons, topwater, sand eels and other soft plastics. You may also bring a cast net and catch finger mullet if you want to fish livies..The mullet are plentiful on the beach.

What to Watch For: Sharks!! They always steal your biggest fish. Dress appropriately, always wear your PFD. Be sure to renew your membership if it is due (which now includes your waiver signature for all club trips).

How to Get There: From Lafayette take I10 West to Hwy 27 exit south. Turn West on Hwy 82 and will be launching along Hwy.
