MORNING INSTRUCTIONS
Mandatory check-in and sign-in between 5:30-6:45 AM (See Map Below) at the sailboat launch (end of Beach Rd adjacent to the camps). It would be prudent to arrive early to give yourself ample time to sign-in, unload and launch without being rushed.  All participants must launch from the designated sailboat launch and wait in kayak in the designated waiting zone (map).  The blast-off will sound promptly at 7:00 AM so be ready before then.  Participants who miss the shotgun launch are disqualified.  Note:The park normally opens at 7 AM but they will open the gates as early as 5 AM for this event



EVENT RULES

1. This event follows the club's general rules (read here) plus the following rules below.  Anyone caught breaking a rule is subject to immediate DQ from the tourney.
2.  ENTRY: $25 + $5 Optional Sand Trout Calcutta (+ $1.25 via PayPal)
3. REGISTER: Until Sat Nov 5 | 5:45 AM.
4. LEGAL DEPART TIME: 7:00 a.m.
5. SHOTGUN LAUNCH DETAILS: Anglers must unload kayak and get in water.  Angler are to wait in their kayak next to launch, in group and launch until the tournament director gives the go-ahead.
6. LEGAL TACKLE: Artificial Lures Only
7. FISHING TIME: Blast off - 3 p.m.
8. SIGN-IN: 2-3 PM.
9. WEIGH-IN: Begins at 3 PM.  Anglers will be called to the weigh station.
10. PAYOUTS: Cash payouts TBD.
11. POINTS: Series Points applies to the 5 Trout Category (LKFC Members).
12. Legal Craft: Human powered kayaks and canoes are acceptable.  No wind driven, gas or electric powered craft. No mothershipping.

Anglers may weigh up to 5 Speckled Trout with a 12” min.

FISH FRY

We encourage everyone to remain after the weigh-in for more festivities.  We will use all donated fish towards the fish fry.  We are in need of volunteers to cook and clean fish.  Please email Jeff if you will assist.
